Granollers is one of the cities close to Barcelona that’s most renowned for its flea markets and fairs. Its great commercial tradition has survived up to the present day thanks to a wide variety of fairs and markets and thriving commercial sector that enlivens the city throughout the year.
Open-air weekly market selling clothes, accessories, food and household goods. The Thursday market has over 400 stalls dotted throughout the streets and squares in the city centre and around key buildings and sites. This popular market is over a thousand years old and was first documented in 1040. It’s a point of reference for the whole region and embodies the commercial spirit of Granollers.
